Bezüglich „Maria von der Göttlichen Barmherzigkeit“, Papst Franziskus und dem falschen Propheten

Die Botschaften von Maria von der Göttlichen Barmherzigkeit (MDM), die sie angeblich aus himmlischen Quellen empfängt, sind plausibel. Ich habe alle Botschaften sowie alle veröffentlichten Beurteilungen und Kritiken an ihren Botschaften untersucht... und habe nicht festgestellt, dass sie auch nur einen (einzigen) Fehler in den verkündeten Botschaften beweisen. Und die negativen Bewertungen von MDM, die von Kritikern bis heute veröffentlicht wurden, sind bestenfalls nicht schlüssig und nicht überzeugend.
Ich habe nicht festgestellt, dass ihre Botschaften irgendeiner Lehre widersprechen oder dass sie einen tatsächlichen Fehler enthalten. Bis heute sind ihre Botschaften nicht von irgendeiner dafür zuständigen offiziellen kirchlichen Autorität (welche die irischen Bischöfe oder die Glaubenskongregation wären), verurteilt, obwohl sie sicherlich auch keine kirchliche Anerkennung erhalten haben.
Auf der anderen Seite haben sich einige ihrer Prophezeiungen erfüllt und ihre Botschaften sind deckungsgleich mit anderen verwandten legitimen Quellen von Prophetie, in dieser Zeit gegeben werden.
Genauso haben die Kreuzzuggebete von Maria von der Göttlichen Barmherzigkeit denselben Status wie ihre verkündeten Botschaften, wie oben angegeben, und somit erscheint es zulässig, sie zu beten.
Zusammengefasst heißt dies: Die Gläubigen/Kirchengläubigen dürfen die von MDM verkündeten Botschaften lesen und verbreiten und ihre Gebete beten.

Vorsicht ist geboten!
Dennoch müssen wir vorsichtig sein, und weiterhin mit Gebet und Fügsamkeit gegenüber der Kirche und dem Heiligen Geist unterscheiden, in Erinnerung an die Worte von Papst Urban VIII.: „In Fällen, die Privatoffenbarungen betreffen, ist es besser, zu glauben, als nicht zu glauben, denn wenn ihr glaubt und es sich als wahr erweist, werdet ihr euch überglücklich schätzen, dass ihr geglaubt habt, weil unsere Heilige Mutter es so verlangte. Wenn ihr glaubt und wenn es sich herausstellen sollte, dass sie falsch waren, so bekommt ihr all die Segnungen, weil ihr sie für echt gehalten habt.“

Mögliche Probleme
Eines der ernsten Probleme, die durch die verkündeten himmlischen Botschaften von MDM aufgeworfen werden, betrifft ihre Botschaft, dass Papst Benedikt XVI das Papsttum verlassen würde (vor seinem Tod), und dass sein Nachfolger der falsche Prophet (wie in Offenbarung 13 beschrieben) sein würde. Es handelt sich um eine schwierige Botschaft, die mit feinfühligem Unterscheidungsvermögen durchdacht werden muss. Ob diese Botschaft wahr ist oder nicht, wir wissen es nicht.
Selbst wenn diese verkündete Botschaft wahr ist, dürfen wir es niemals auf uns nehmen, selbst so zu entscheiden,... wir müssen warten, bis die Kirche uns in solchen Angelegenheiten lenkt. Wie auch immer, wir müssen der Kirche treu bleiben. Uns ist niemals persönlich erlaubt zu glauben, der Papst sei falsch, es sei denn, die höchste legitime Autorität der Kirche würde zu verstehen geben, dass er es ist.

Sorgfältige Unterscheidung
Also, während wir über die Botschaften von MDM nachdenken und sie verbreiten... als praktizierende Katholiken, müssen wir auch wegen der Botschaft hinsichtlich des neuen Papstes vorsichtig (und sogar in Bezug auf diese etwas kritisch) sein, und in dieser Situation müssen wir persönlich Folgendes erklären:
1. Ich akzeptiere die Lehre der Universalen Katholischen Kirche, dass der Papst, wenn er über den Glauben und die Moral spricht, unfehlbar ist.
2. Ich akzeptiere, da beim letzten Konklave legitim gewählt, Papst Franziskus (als den gültig gewählten Papst).
Dies schließt ein „alle Handlungen des Lehramtes, [ die ] aus der gleichen Quelle stammen, das heißt, von Christus... Aus dem gleichen Grund sind lehramtlichen Entscheidungen in Fragen der Disziplin, auch wenn sie nicht durch das Charisma der Unfehlbarkeit gewährleistet sind, nicht ohne göttlichen Beistand und beanspruchen die Einhaltung der Gläubigen“ ( Donum Veritatis ), was jedes Mitglied der katholischen Gläubigen verpflichtet ist, Papst Franziskus anzubieten.

Die Zeit wird es zeigen
Die Zeit wird in dieser heiklen Angelegenheit die Dinge klarer machen, ob die Botschaften von MDM Ablehnung verdienen, weil sie sich im lehrmäßigem Irrtum befindet, ihre Botschaften nicht echt sind oder sie letztendlich zu Recht von der Kirche verurteilt wird. Andernfalls werden ihre Prophezeiungen fortfahren, sich selbst zu bestätigen, wenn sich die Ereignisse entfalten und die Prophezeiungen wahr werden.

Wichtige Frage und Klärung
Die häufigste Frage, die zurzeit über MDM gestellt wird, ist, ob ein rechtsgültig gewählter Papst sogar der falsche Prophet sein könne, wie ihre Botschaften verkünden. Die Antwort ist: JA.
Jedoch — obwohl es möglich wäre — wäre es sehr unwahrscheinlich.
Also, wie könnte es geschehen, dass ein rechtsgültig gewählter Papst der falsche Prophet (ein ungültiger Papst oder ein Anti- Papst) werden könnte?
Die päpstliche Bulle von Papst Paul IV Cum ex Apostolatus Officio lehrt, dass, wenn jemand vor der Papstwahl ein Häretiker war, er kein gültiger Papst sein könne, auch wenn er (gültig) einstimmig von den Kardinälen gewählt sei.
Ebenso besagt Canon 188,4 (1917 Kodex des kanonischen Rechts), dass, wenn ein Kleriker (Papst, Bischof, etc.) ein Häretiker wird, er ohne jegliche offizielle Erklärung kraft Gesetzes sein Amt verliert.
Der Heilige Robert Bellarmin, der Heilige Antonius, der Heilige Franz von Sales, der Heilige Alfons von Liguori und viele andere Theologen, alle lehrten, dass ein Häretiker kein gültiger Papst sein könne.
„Wenn aber Gott zulassen würde, dass ein Papst
ein notorischer und widerspenstiger Häretiker wird,
dann würde dieser durch solch eine Tatsache aufhören, Papst zu sein,
und der apostolische Stuhl wäre vakant.“

Allerdings fordert das Kirchenrecht, dass die Gläubigen davon ausgehen müssen, dass wir einen gültigen Papst haben, es sei denn, die höchste Autorität der Kirche erklärt offiziell etwas anderes.
Somit kann man die Möglichkeit erwägen, dass ein „Anti-Papst“ potentiell aus einem gültigen Konklave kommen könnte, und dies stellt nicht einen falschen oder „häretischen“ Standpunkt dar.
Folglich ist es tatsächlich möglich, dem Lehramt treu zu bleiben UND zu erwägen, dass die Botschaften von MDM plausibel authentisch sein könnten, dass der Papst der falsche Prophet sei… und sogar, dass die Kirche selbst aussagt, dass dies zumindest möglich sei.

Einen Papst kritisieren und ihm nicht gehorchen
Man könnte fragen, ob es überhaupt zulässig sei, den Papst zu kritisieren. Die Antwort ist „Ja“. Ein Beispiel dafür wurde in der Heiligen Schrift durch den Heiligen Paulus gegeben, der Papst St. Petrus entgegentrat und der über diese Begegnung schrieb mit den Worten: „Als Kephas (Papst St. Peter) aber nach Antiochia gekommen war, bin ich ihm offen entgegengetreten, weil er sich ins Unrecht gesetzt hatte.“ (Galater 2,11-14).
Der Heilige Thomas von Aquin bestätigt es, indem er sagt: „Gibt es eine unmittelbare Gefahr für den Glauben, müssen Prälaten von ihren Untergebenen in Frage gestellt werden, auch öffentlich.“
Der Heilige Augustinus erklärt die Richtigkeit, abwegigen Geistlichen, selbst Päpsten, Widerstand zu leisten, und schreibt: „Es ist möglich, dass Untergebene die Kühnheit haben, ihren Vorgesetzten ohne Angst entgegenzutreten, wenn sie in aller Liebe ihre Meinung sagen in Verteidigung der Wahrheit.“
Die Päpste selbst lehren dies. Der Selige Pius IX. sagte: „Wenn ein künftiger Papst irgendetwas lehrt, was im Widerspruch zum katholischen Glauben steht, dann folgt ihm nicht.“
„Selbst wenn die Masse dem Papst in die Häresie folgen sollte und selbst wenn Katholiken, welche der Tradition treu bleiben, auf eine Handvoll reduziert würden, sind sie diejenigen, die die wahre Kirche Jesu Christi sind“, sagt der Heilige Athanasius.
Der Heilige Robert Bellarmin SJ schrieb sogar, wie folgt:
“Ebenso wie es rechtmäßig ist, dem Papst Widerstand zu leisten, der den Leib angreift, ist es auch rechtmäßig, dem Papst Widerstand zu leisten, der Seelen angreift oder der die zivile Ordnung stört oder — vor allem — der versucht, die Kirche zu zerstören. Ich sage, dass es rechtmäßig ist, ihm Widerstand zu leisten, indem man nicht tut, was er anordnet, und verhindert, dass sein Wille ausgeführt wird.“

Die Zeit wird diese Angelegenheit klarer machen.
Möge der Herr uns weiterhin in Seiner Wahrheit führen und in Treue zu Seiner Kirche und Loyalität zum Papst.

Concerning “Maria Divine Mercy”, Pope Francis, and the False Prophet

The messages of Maria Divine Mercy (MDM), which she is reportedly receiving from heavenly sources, are plausible. I have examined all the messages, as well as all of the published evaluations and criticisms of her messages… and have not found them to establish a single error in her reported messages. And the negative evaluations of MDM posted by critics to date have been, at best, inconclusive and unconvincing.
I have not found that her messages contradict any doctrine, or that they contain an actual error. As of today, her messages are not condemned by any official Church authority with jurisdiction to do so (which would be the Irish Bishops or the CDF), though certainly they have not received Church recognition either.
On the other hand, several of her prophecies have been fulfilled, and her messages are congruent to the other related legitimate sources of prophecy being given in these times.
As well, the Crusader Prayers of Maria Divine Mercy are in the same status as her reported messages, as stated above, and thus, it would seem that it is permissible to pray them.
So, in summary, the Church faithful may read and spread MDM’s reported messages and pray her prayers.

Caution Needed!
Still, we must be cautious, and continue to discern with prayer and docility to the Church and the Holy Spirit, while remembering the words of Pope Urban VIII: “In cases which concern private revelations, it is better to believe than not to believe, for, if you believe, and it is proven true, you will be happy that you have believed, because our Holy Mother asked it. If you believe, and it should be proven false, you will receive all blessings as if it had been true, because you believed it to be true.”

Potential Problem
One of the serious issues that are raised by the reported heavenly messages of MDM is regarding her message that Pope Benedict XVI would leave the papacy (before he died) and that his successor would be the false prophet (as discussed in Revelation 13). This is a difficult message and must be considered with delicate discernment. Whether this message is true or not, we do not know.
Even if this reported message is true, we must never take it upon ourselves to decide as such… we must wait for the Church to direct us in such matters. No matter what, we must remain faithful to the Church. We are never personally permitted to believe the Pope is invalid, unless the highest legitimate authority of the Church were to indicate that he is.

Careful Distinction
So, while we may meditate on and spread the messages of MDM… as practicing Catholics, we must also be cautious about (and even somewhat critical concerning) this message related to the new Pope, and in this situation we must personally declare the following:
1. I accept the teaching of the Universal Catholic Church that the Pope when speaking on faith and morals is infallible.
2. I accept, as legitimately elected by the recent conclave, Pope Francis (as the validly elected Pope).
This includes “all acts of the Magisterium [which] derive from the same source, that is, from Christ… For this same reason, magisterial decisions in matters of discipline, even if they are not guaranteed by the charism of infallibility, are not without divine assistance and call for the adherence of the faithful” (Donum Veritatis), which every member of the Catholic faithful is obliged to offer Pope Francis.

Time will Tell
Time will make things more clear in this delicate matter, as to whether MDM’s messages deserve repudiation because she is in doctrinal error, her messages are inauthentic, or she is eventually rightly condemned by the Church. Otherwise, her prophecies will continue to validate themselves as events unfold and they come true.

Important Question and Clarification
The most common question people are asking right now about MDM is whether a validly elected Pope could even be the false prophet, as her messages are reporting. The answer is – YES.
Though, while it is possible, it would be quite improbable.
So, how could it happen that a validly-elected Pope could become the false prophet (an invalid pope or an anti-pope)?
Pope Paul IV’s Papal Bull Cum ex Apostolatus Officio teaches that if anyone was a heretic before the Papal election, he could not be a valid Pope, even if he is (validly) elected unanimously by the Cardinals.
As well, Canon 188.4 (1917 Code of Canon Law) states that if a cleric (pope, bishop, etc.) becomes a heretic, he loses his office, without any declaration, by operation of law.
St. Robert Bellarmine, St. Antonius, St. Francis de Sales, St. Alphonsus Liguori, and many other theologians all taught that a heretic cannot be a valid pope.
“If however, God were to permit a pope to become
a notoriously and contumacious heretic,
he would by such fact cease to be pope,
and the apostolic chair would be vacant.”

However, ecclesiastical law requires that the faithful must presume we have a valid Pope, unless the Church’s highest authority formally declares otherwise.
So, one may consider the possibility that an “anti-pope” could potentially come from a valid conclave, and this does not constitute a false or “heretical” position.
Thus, it is actually possible to remain faithful to the Magisterium AND consider that the messages of MDM plausibly might be authentic that the Pope is the false prophet… and even that the Church herself states that this IS at least possible.

Criticizing and Disobeying a Pope
We might ask whether it is ever acceptable to criticize the Pope. The answer is ‘yes’. An example of this was done in Scripture by St. Paul who confronted Pope St. Peter, writing about the encounter saying: “And when Cephas (Pope St. Peter) came to Antioch, I opposed him, before everyone, to his face because he clearly was wrong” (Galatians 2:11-14). St. Thomas Aquinas confirms, saying: “There being an imminent danger for the Faith, prelates must be questioned, even publicly, by their subjects.” Explaining the correctness of resisting wayward ecclesiastics, even popes, St. Augustine writes, “It is possible for subordinates to have the boldness to resist their superiors without fear, when in all charity they speak out in the defense of truth.” The Popes themselves teach this. Ven. Pius IX said: “If a future pope teaches anything contrary to the Catholic Faith, do not follow him.” Even if the many should follow the Pope into heresy, and “Even if Catholics faithful to Tradition are reduced to a handful, they are the ones who are the true Church of Jesus Christ,” says St. Athanasius. St. Robert Bellarmine, S.J., even wrote as follows:
“Just as it is lawful to resist the pope that attacks the body, it is also lawful to resist the one who attacks souls or who disturbs civil order, or, above all, who attempts to destroy the Church. I say that it is lawful to resist him by not doing what he orders and preventing his will from being executed.”

Time will make this matter more clear.
May the Lord continue to guide us in His truth and in faithfulness to His Church and loyalty to the Pope.
